David Dewey leads NBS Real Estate Capital’s portfolio management/asset management team.  Mr. Dewey’s broad commercial real estate experience includes asset management, acquisitions, development, leasing, financing, loan restructurings, and dispositions in various property types.  During his tenure at NBS Real Estate Capital, Mr. Dewey has participated in and led the oversight of a diverse portfolio of equity, joint venture equity, preferred equity, and mezzanine debt investments totaling in excess of $500 million in value.  

Prior to joining NBS Real Estate Capital, Mr. Dewey was a Principal at Pension Consulting Alliance, where he provided real estate investment consulting services to PCA clients including strategic planning, portfolio reviews, investment advisor and partnership due diligence and selection, manager searches, and topical real estate research as well as client relations.  During his tenure at PCA, Mr. Dewey was involved in and led due diligence efforts on more than $4.8 billion of real estate investments on behalf of many of PCA clients such as CalSTRS, CalPERS, OPERF and others.

Mr. Dewey is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).  He earned his M.B.A. with an emphasis in finance from the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business and a B.S. in Business Management from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management.
