For the last seven years, Tara Hockett has been working in the commercial real estate industry. Before joining NBS Real Estate Capital, she worked for NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson as a Property Management Assistant. She managed the accounts payable and account receivable for 25-plus properties and worked closely with property managers, owners and accounting staff to ensure fiscal success and profitability.

Prior to this, Ms. Hockett spent four years working as a property manager for a local company. Her responsibilities included tenant relations, coordination of construction and tenant improvements with contractors and vendors, and facilitating service contracts and various administrative and support services including accounting, budgeting and lease administration.

She brings a thorough understanding of commercial real estate to the team and a history of superior client-oriented service.  Her experience has uniquely prepared Ms. Hockett for her duties in investor relations for NBS Real Estate Capital.  Ms. Hockett holds a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology from Lewis & Clark College and a M.S. from Portland State University and is active in Big Brothers Big Sisters.
