As the Investment Accountant, Heather Thompson is responsible for managing the financial accounting for Fund I and Fund II portfolio investments. She joined NBS Real Estate Capital in April 2006, and brings 6 years of accounting experience to the firm. Previously, Ms. Thompson held the position of Financial Accountant with Mazama Capital Management, Inc., an independent investment advisory firm that specializes in small and mid cap growth equity portfolios. Her responsibilities included all aspects of accounting, finance and human resources.

Prior to Mazama Capital Management, Ms. Thompson was a Senior Auditor at Moss Adams LLP, an accounting, tax and consulting services provider located in Beaverton , OR . The broad scope of Moss Adams' services provided her with a wide variety of accounting experience from corporate accounts reconciliation to tax return preparation for individuals and private businesses. Ms. Thompson was also responsible for guiding junior staff through audits and maintaining client communications for numerous accounts.

Ms. Thompson obtained a B.S. in Accounting from Linfield College and currently sits on the Linfield College Alumni Leadership Council. She holds a Certified Public Accountant’s license (Oregon).
